something knocking????

my 95' f250 4x4has like this knockin noise from the front like almost the suspension it does it when I step into the truck and when I turn it on and start to drive it does it ....any ideas???????

Those are the first places I'd look. Ball joints are good to check on once in a while anyhow.

Also, make sure and check your stabilizer bar bushings, I just replaced ball joints in one of mine and there were no bushings left, so every time took off the bar would bang against the brackets.

ok I got it it was the front passenger strut bushing it was completely gone
