Fuel Pump Arms?
I recently purchased a fuel pump for my 390. When I pulled the old one the pump arm was different from the new one. New pump has kind of a bump at where the arm starts to curve old is more flat. Parts store said that was the only one listed for my 390 so installed it. The motor runs fine but fuel pressure bounces between 5 and 6 psi where as it stayed at a solid 6 psi with old pump. Change pumps because motor had been sitting awhile and didnt want gas in the oil. Are the different pumps for FE's? Will i mess somethin up using the new one? Sorry for the long post.
