First time poster. I am very curious to see what this goes for. I just acquired a '78 2WD stepside that I have started to preform a frame off restoration and it had one of these on it with the fog lights. I had no idea they were rare. I was thinking about pitching it.

It wouldn't surprise me if it approaches the $400 mark.

Thanks for the welcome. I plan to start a build thread in the coming days. I have lots of questions as this is my first Ford ever.

That guy is about a hour from me. It was on last week if I remember correctly with a buy know option for 200. Starting bid was 100 and nobody bid on it. Have to keep an eye on it.

There's genuine Ford and aftermarket push bars, which type is for sale on ebay?

1977 F100/350 push bar is one year only, 1978/79 F100/350/Bronco push bar same. There's another push bar just for 1978/79 Econolines.

I thought the seller was near you Terry...

Maybe you can work a deal outside of ebay, the seller will avoid ebays fees and you'll avoid shipping costs, it's a win win for you both.

Anything under $200 would be a steal.

I'll keep an eye on it if it goes cheap enough. I've got a decent chrome guard that came on my highboy as a back-up.

I don't think they were for highboy's only. If they don't line up, probably aftermarket.

Hey guys, do the real deal bars have an actual Fomoco stamp and or pn?

Nevermind on the pn I just saw NDs post.
What about the stamp for identification purposes.

I dig the look, not much on durability though, I find and sale them all the time to FTE folks.

I am trying to get a place to reproduce them, but you need some serious pipe bending equipment to not get a "metal bunch" in the back side of the sharp bend radius.

I only have one spare for a 73-79 at the moment and am using it as my original to copy. Once I get a place that can make them I will take the 78/79 one off my blue truck and get it copied.

I sold the light tabs off the blue truck one and still have a set on the silver truck one.

As I find them I post up the fact and make a deal.
