Do you have a short water pump or a long water pump, are you running headers or exhaust manifolds.
There is several bracket in one set-up, so make sure you get the whole set-up even the pump with the pulley so you now it all fits together. You best bet is to got to a wrecking yard where you pull the parts yourself and you can see the different styles and choose whats best.

You really wouldn't want to copy my PS pump install on my SBC. The PO (actually his old school mechanic, he didn't do any of his own work) used a bunch of scrap brackets from ??? to Rube Goldberg a mount that did not adjust. Yes you could swing the pump, but the arc didn't change the belt tension!?!?, Everything else runs off an aftermarket serpentine belt system. I need to design a new mount. You can buy aftermarket PS pump mounts for the SBC, that's one of the advantages of GM maintaining one basic design for this engine family, and it's popularity.

You may want to google power steering bracket for Chevy 350 before you buy something used.

Jegs JEGS Performance Auto Parts - Holley - Billet Specialties - Edelbrock - MSD - Moroso - Mr Gasket has several brackets for both the short and long waterpump for not much money. I' sure that Summit www.summitracing.com and possibly Speedway Home - Speedway Motors, America's Oldest Speed Shop are likely to have some as well.

Long pumps are easier to find, but try to get everything from the same car/truck so you know it will work together and be basically a bolt on. I would look for pictures of early 70's cars...Camaro, Nova, Chevelle, the trucks had some different brackets, also make sure it's for a small block. I have a few brackets here from early 70's Camaros but not the main pump holder bracket. If you really want to they repo all the brackets for Camaros and then just get the pump for that application......but I'm cheap and don't like repo parts .

Something like this:

Or this, but you'll need to fab up something for the header mount...pretty easy:

Seldom does the pump end up with the fill cap pointed perfectly vertical. The rez is large enough to be angled without issues.

They're never 100% level, but like AX said the volume is enough inside the reservoir.

It makes noise cause its low on fluid and has air in the system. Air in the system can also ruin the pump.

Are you running a Toyota PS box, or a MII front end with R&P, or do you have drag-link style Ford PS? It makes a difference, and I don't see where you've shared that with us.
