Start up problem confused

Start up problem confused
Have a 1994 F Super Duty 460 . I can go out and start it and it runs fine. I can shut it off and try to start it again and all it does is crank. Doesn't matter if it has ran 2 minutes or 20. I can let it sit for a hour or so and try to start it and hestitates but then starts. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Auto or manual? I had a start problem I chased for a while in my 250 7.3, It ended up being the Dual Mass Flywheel coming apart. No codes. Starts and runs like a beauty now, replaced with aftermarket kit.
