7.3 rapidly starts and dies and starts etc

It's a 96 and once I start my truck and drive it for 10-30 mins go into a store for about an hour, I'll go to start my truck again and sometimes it'll serg on start up, like start, die, start, die then run fine. It'll do it once I feel it fire up and let off the key. What's going on ?

If what you are describing is a romping start, try starting it in neutral. If it doesn't do it in neutral, then the range sensor on the side of the trans is probably bad.

Yes there we go thanks, its a romping start. And I just got done replacing that but its not OEM so maybe that's why it's acting up because I was getting a code for that a few weeks ago

All I did was bolt it on so I assume it's not. But I didn't see any oval shaped holes for adjustment but I could be wrong. And I tried starting it in neutral and same thing happened. It never Dos it on cold start ups

You could get a gauge to read ICP pressures.

Injector control pressures. Its the oil pressure put out by the hpop to run the injectors.
