Brake shimmy
I'm new to the forum's and apologize if this thread has been created already. I've been running into a couple issues with my brake system lately. First off, on both of my front rims there seems to be ALOT! of reddish brown brake dust....Even after about a half hour drive from the car wash it's dirty again. Secondly, when braking(more particularly on the highway) I get a fairly substantial shimmy in both the steering wheel and the brake peddle. It pulsates when slowing in the city at lower speeds, and most recently the ABS light has come on. I had the local store pull the code and it says a rt px side sensor malfunction.
I'm witting to ask if my assumptions are all correct. I believe the culprit to be 2 crappy rotors, right and left. as for the ABS light, I think it's probably just dirty from all of the brake dust it seems to kick up
Does this seem to be the problem?
