doesnt idle down after accelaration

I have a 1990 f 250, 5.8, with 5 speed. the engine doesnt rusume idle after accelaration. it takes 5 or 10 seconds sometimes longer for it to gradually back down to idle. I have replaced the AIC, pulled the the throttle body and cleaned it. I have removed the upper intake and made sure it was sealed good. any ideas?

i pulled one fromthe junk yard and and blasted it really good with wd-40, still didnt help, is this possibly a TPS problem?

I'm assuming you have a dual butterfly TB? If so check to make sure both plates are closing at the same time? I had to replace mine because of wore throttle plate shafts. So the two plates were not closing together.
