I have factory tint in the back and I told the guy that did my fronts to match it. I believe its 20%. it looks kinda dark because of the lighting. I love the look and it keeps the beating sun out.
Tim. Its not a problem at night. The one thing I would do is do the strip on frt winsheild. I had them put it lower than normal by about 2" lower than bottom of rear view mirror. Thats the best at keeping sun outta eyes and sun off a lot of ya.
Typically I don't find the 20% to be a problem at night unless it is raining. Visibility at night in the rain is horrible, but even with no tint, looking through rain soaked mirrors at night isn't all that great.

In texas you can only go to 5 inches from top of windshield max.
I'm in texas and went 30% all around. Its a little bit darker in the back with the factory tint, but works great as I dont have any visibility issues when driving at night.
Well I gotta say the 20% looks good from the outside. But it seems like it would be dark looking out of it especially at night.
I do feel that at night the 20% can be a problem and there's some added precaution needed. I lower both windows when backing up the 5th wheel even in daylight for better visibility. Yes 20% looks good but honestly in my opinion it has some negatives. Also you add the darker window rain shields and that puts a wider / darker blind spot to deal with. But hell it looks good.....

Yep, I do have to agree with you. But, due to my poor night vision from previous combat injuries I rarely ever drive at night and never tow. So, looking good was an acceptable trade-off for me.
I'm not in a truck anymore, but on my car I went with 5% on the rear windows and 35% on the fronts plus sunroof, I think it looks really good at that on the fronts.

I know its not a Ford guys but take it easy on me, needed a car and my uncle sold me my aunts cause she didn't need it anymore. Didn't make financial sense anymore to have the dually diesel, unfortunately.
20% front winders, pretty close match to the factory rear, not sure if I had to do it over again I wouldn't have gone with 30% on the front (night vision, rain). @$25 bucks a window, it would be an inexpensive change of mind...

My cost for the 20% was $95.00 with lifetime warranty and IM hoping for a bubble / defect to appear so I can change to 30%. You have to be careful driving with the 30% in the city especially at night, then again every other BMW or Accura has 20%, just saying....
