4r70w question
When i dropped my 4r70w transmission drain pan, i had a white-ish plastic umbrella piece floating in it which has an O-ring on it, not sure where it goes or came from inside the trans.. I tried to look up some break downs on this trans to see it in any pictures but can not find it... any ideas?

Thanks so much!! "Its a plug used to seal the case for the dipstick tube from the factory, when the dipstick tube is installed it is pushed into the pan where it stays until someone changes the fluid for the first time. Just discard it and move on with the service."
