You know I find myself adding on to my old recliner..
Wife says I should get a new one..But they don't make the kind of dream recliner I want...lol
Mine would be like this..
All leather with the heat massage that reaches all 2,000 parts..
A built in remote for the TV,Stereo,DVD,AND VCR
4 Cupholders, and a built in small frig too keep drinks cold inbetween commericals..
It would also have "The Claw" Which would be used to move people when they stand infront of the tv..
Also have a small engine with wheels so I could make it to the kitchen to load back up on pork rines and steak..
An automatic fly killer incase any bugs get in the house..
And since I am going to spend alot of time there might as well have a built in razor and shaving cream incase I start looking like a cave man....
A built in telephone and a computer right next to me so I can come to the Ford site.
What would your Dream Recliner have??

Jim, that's the best post I've read in a long time.
Now I KNOW you're brilliant.
That would be the best damn recliner in the world. The only thing I'd add would be a mute button, not for the TV, but for the wife and everyone else always yakking while I'm watching.
Waxy
I thank you.....
As soon as I put this in production I would send you number 1..
Then, when we get alot of demand, I will built a nice shop to make them in...
Call it...The new man's best friend
That sounds like the perfect dream recliner. Maybe a fan and a blender wuold make a couple of cool extra options. Maybe one of those big shade umbrellas for when you 'drive it' outside.
And a trap thrower for skeet shootn'.
Along with a mute button, the 'Get me a beer woman' button. And a few others also.......My future father-in-law had one It was funny, my gal made sure it dissaperaed, but I had already seen it....
Your actually too late. Theres a company out there that makes one already. I saw it in Maxim one month i think. Its got a built in fridge, massager, inigrated remote in on arm, power axis control, and a swing out table. It was the coolest, except it was like six grand. Something about suede and mahogony
In addition to the above, mine would need a swing away monitor and keyboard... and 4x4 with push button convertable top when I need to go out to check the snail mail. Did I mention powered by 4.6 Triton? ( I don't need the torque of the bigger engine.)
To begin with, it needs a 7.3 turbo deisel, and all of the lift the law allows.
It's got to have a projector and a satellite link for cable and internet, remote keyboard and mouse, and a library of dvd's and games within easy reach.
Surround sound is mandatory, earth shaking by preference, and the system must have it's own generator/power source.
A Galaxy radio, with a Texas Star linear and a Wilson whip, power mike, and an ash tray that can't be filled up in less than two days.
All of this to be mounted on either an F-350 or an F-450 frame and weather protected by an early forties COE cab.
Nuisance removal could be accomplished by modifying a hydraulic plow to accept various parts of a forklift. This is to provide the ability to lift up rice roadsters that are producing annoying quantities of bass sounds and drop them into the nearest dumpster where such things belong...
A cooler, horizontal freezer, and a safe for guns and valuables would share space in the bed with a fifth wheel so that a bedroom and bathroom would never be too far away.
And there you have it:
Not only the ideal recliner, but my next truck project rolled into ONE!!!
You forgot a sound killer device. That will block any sound (including the wife) except the tv. A stun gun would be nice also. Anything that moves infront of the TV gets zapped. And of course an alarm system to make sure anyone doesn't use your chair. You could avoid that by having a built in toilet. How about a built in money press?
