Wasn't aware of that. Maybe it is the right cab? Not enough pics at this point to be conclusive. One thing I am surprised by though is that it is advertised as a 352 and not a 390

Did'ja see what I typed in post 30?

Here's the front fender applications for 1964/66 F100/250 2WD & 4WD and etc. Scroll down past the mouldings.

ND,
I went back and looked at post 30 and there was nothing posted regarding fenders. Looking at the page you scanned it appears that all 4x4s had the large radius fenders except the 66 f100, am I correct in the way I read that? If so, then this truck in question advertised as a 64 should have the large radius fenders regardless of being a f100 or f250?

1964 F100/250 has the 36" front fenders, but Ford doesn't differentiate between 2WD & 4WD...so this could apply to both.

To confuse the issue even further, here are the 1957/63 fender applications. As you can see, there's nothing mentioned inre to 1961/63: 36" or 45" or to 2WD or 4WD

66: Uni's; 81: conventional cabs; 84 & 85 are Open Drive-Away's.

In post 27 you said among other things, that the radiator support could be 1965/66 2WD.

There's no such thing, because 1965 F100/250 2WD & 1966 F100 4WD use the same support, while 1966 F100//250 2WD is all by itself, why in post 30 I gave you the radiator support info.

Look at my 63 build of a 63 F250 4wd pickup. You will see what I am having to do to convert a 2wd cab to a 4wd cab. Its not that hard. Only diff is the battery box in the floor. Otherwise the same cab 61-64. At 64 the roofline of the cab did change it still had the inside step. The inside step went away in 65 in the 2wd line. It was still used in the 4wd and larger truck line. 64 roofline is a little taller and that is where the indent ontop of the roof comes in. Pre 64 trucks had a lower roof line with no indent on top.

Edit. Like Bill said plenty of factory 4wd are showing up up here in Washington state and other places. Problem is the unmodified ones have usually been worked to death and put away wet. You will probably have to buy one of these and restore it. I doubt you will find many that have not been beat. A few do pop up that are not worked to death but they are few and far between.

I was working on a 66 project when a 62 F100 4x4 with only 24,500 miles came available. Of course I bought it. It was a brush fire truck owned by a rural fire dept, they sold it at auction to a farmer and someone had broken the right front hub in 1973, the year it was last tagged and registered. It sat until 2011 in a wooden shed that had fallen down on it, pretty much totally forgotten.

A guy bought it and put new tires, wheels, brakes, shocks, He sold it to me when his health got bad. I had to resolve the issue with ownership because the farmer had never put the title in his name. That was not any fun and took 2 months.

The area under the dash and above the headliner was pretty much solid with dirt dobber nests, it took nearly a day of power washer time to get the cab totally cleaned out.

Of course all the seals and rubber was 50 years old and the oil in the drive train was pretty thick and nasty. $13,000 and a lot of hours later she is a very nice daily driver with new ac. It was worth it even though I had to sell off other beloved projects to get her to this stage. Funny thing is, I have put less than 800 miles on it in the past 18 months.

Good luck.

If this isn't taboo....

I have a '62 F100 4X4 for sale. Listing is at the Slick 60's forum. Not near as nice as the truck at the beginning of this thread, but no where near as costly either.

Anyway, if this was taboo, sorry, just delete.

Learned something new, I didn't know about the F11=4x4.
