oasis report

If a dealer will not give me an oasis report I have heard I can get one from our site. I think they are hiding something from me. Had my 2010 f350 for 4 months and having transmission trouble from it-after they told me there were no issues with the vehicle and it had been serviced by them on an on-going basis. If this is possible my VIN is 1FTWX3BR7AEA78251. Thank you.

IIRC we cannot do OASIS reports from this site any longer , you have to get it from the dealer.

No more Oasis Reports?!? That's the only reason why I became a member!!!

Take your Vin# to another Ford dealer and they should be able to pull up an Oasis for your ride. I bought an 07 F350 a couple a months ago and the dealer that sold it to me pulled up the entire history from day one and I am the forth owner and I was the only one they sold the truck to, all of the past owners bought it elsewhere. Hope this helps. although the Oasis is only as good as the info entered into it, if Ford worked on it Ford will have records somewhere outside of the dealership where you purchased it. At least that was my experience.

And if it tells you the tanny has been a problem you'll have some ammo to use against the enemy.

Well I hope you find the vast array of knowledge well worth the little bit of effort it took you to become a member. I believe we don't do OASIS on here anymore is because Ford asked us not to. The Information in the report is the property of the Ford motor company to be used by them and for them and not always public information..

The guys are right. OASIS reports haven't been available through FTE for a number of years now and won't be anytime in the foreseeable future either. If you want or need an OASIS report you'll need to source it from a Ford dealer.

Thanks. After another request the dealer did give me a report. Wish I had had it before I bought the truck.
Taken in ref blue smoke:Leak between turbos-says they changed air cooler (what does this mean?).
#5 injector rocker arm piece missing-re[placed#5 rocker arm assembly. replaced #1 inj with new
taken in for oil leak: found rear engine cover gasket leaking "partial R&R CAB R&R rear engine cover gaskets and rear main seal assembly with new (can anyone interpet this for me)???
Taken in ref smoking: found #1,3, and 4 injectors weak. R&R injectors
Nothing on transmission though. Now, after it sets for 4-5 days does not go into gear correctly intill it goes about 1/4 mile-then everything is fine. I suspect front pump in transmission is leaking bak fluid after it sets for a while-not hold pressure I guess????
any thoughts?
