'92 351w Build help

i am new to the forum and have found a TON of great info here for my '92 351w F250 4x4 ZF5 manual tranny. I just scooped this truck up not too long ago and there were "extra parts" that came with the truck when i bought it.

I have been doing a bunch of research to start a 351w build. Im looking for the best hp and torque performance upgrades for my truck.

I am getting ready to purchase pacesetter shorty headers (not sure if the long tubes are better for what im looking for / if they will fit?) and doing a custom true dual exhaust system (pacesetter headers to an H-pipe for better torque 0-4500rpms and then top it off with 2 flowmaster 40 series mufflers and tailpipes that 45 out the sides after the rear axle).

I want to upgrade the intake upper & lower, heads, & cam. When i bought my truck, it came with some extra intake upper and lowers. I didnt know exactly what lower i had so I looked up the casting number on the intake lower (rfe8te9k461bb) and it looks like its off a 7.5L? MY biggest question is, will this lower work on my 351w or should i not worry about it and sell it? What kind of gains can i expect from this lower if applicable? I have an upper but not sure what its off of or if its the best upper for my build.

I have been researching heads and really like the GT40 heads. I still am researching to see what is the best cam setup for what im looking for out of my 351.

Does anyone have any insight/advice for my build? i couldnt find anywhere in the forum that someone put the rfe8te9k461bb lower on. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

460 intake wont work, that's a big block. Heads, cam (has to be SD compatible), exhaust (long tubes are preferred), and a good tune up with advanced timing. The truck intake isn't really a restriction on these. For the most power people go with 393 or 408 strokers.

thanks for the help! I didnt think they would work on the 351. You think if i just port and polish the lower to match the block and the upper it should help out a lot?

I did look into doing a stroker to get me up to the numbers im looking for. After i chose the heads (GT40) thats my next step. I was thinking about bore out 0.30 with forged pinions, 1.7 rockers, and arp studs. What cam should i look into if i do the 408?

Any other parts i should update while everything is torn apart?
