injection pump installed, same problem
I wasnt getting fuel through my injection pump so i bought another one and installed it. now its doing the same thing. all the injector lines are cracked and im not getting any fuel being pumped out. im getting fuel through the filter into the main feed for the IP. as far as the connectors on the pump, im geeting power all the time to the fuel shutoff solenoid, and no power at all to the cold advance.

when you install a replacement injector pump it takes a lot of cranking to fill it.be sure there is power to the fss,be sure the replacement ip was known to work (or a quality reman) the batteries are fully charged,the block warm preferably,a good starting system with fast cranking speed,and a full fuel filter.
it's important to know there is only fuel at injectors only while cranking and only after it's bled.
when i replaced my ip,or when i do fuel screw adjustments to drain the fuel out,it can take 2 or 3 full length 15 second cranking sessions until the ip primes and the engine fires up.this is with a perfect starting system and an electric fuel pump.
full 15 sec crank,full 2 minute starter cool down rest,repeat as needed.
