Man, that brought back memories of me going to the drive in when I was a kid to see "Vanishing Point".
I don't remember how many times I watched that movie.

It reminds me of Hwy 89 on the Utah/Arizona border, just above the Grand Canyon...

"Vanishing Point" came out in 1971 and stared Barry Newman and Cleavon Little. I must've seen that movie a dozen times.

Going on a very foggy old man's memory, the car that was the subject of the movie was a '70 Dodge 440 Challenger but what crashed into the bulldozers at the end was a '67 Camaro.

"Vanishing Point", "Bullitt", and "Gone in Sixty Seconds" (the original one, not the Nicolas Cage version) are probably the three best "chase" movies ever made.

yep had to rewind the movie 3 time for the wife to finally see it was not a challenger. i like the orginal chase in gone in 60 seconds also but dirty mary crazy larry is good to.

thanks, never seen that. its official, Chris Cornell really is in love with himself.

i liked that set to the original soundtrack better. KOW played some pretty awesome music.
