i recently purchased 3 obs powerstroke superdutys that have been sitting in a barn in georgia for the last 13 years the flatbed is idi sorry but any ways that in not the problem the 95 that has 51000 miles on it is surging i have done the fuel pump and the fuel bowl and reg plus 6 injectors still has the same surging problem i am leaning to the hpop by the way the oil is coming out of the injectors with the valve covers off watching it run does this sound right to you my modded truck in my sig does the same thing when i am on it and it runs out if oil thats why i am saying the hpop is weak ant ideas ?
Do you have a scanner, that would help isolate the issue? If not and they have been sitting for 13 years ... yikes. I would suspect the ICP and you could just unplug it and see if the surging goes away, PCM will run on default values. Also the IPR o-rings could just be bad due to sitting for such a long time. My assumption is you did a oil change?
i did all the normal things to the truck that it needs after such a slumber including 2 oil changes and 3 fuel filters fuel tank screen fpr screen blew the lines out both ways i dont think it is a fuel issue at this point
