I know this should be on the 67-72 forum and it will be... but I know you guys much better than the 67-72 guys and I know many of you appreciate using a truck the way they were built for... for work.
A family friend had an old sign rebuilt and painted (I painted the raised letters the lighter color) that belonged to their grandfather and his meat packing plant and store. I hauled the sign in my 1970 F350 to the family's hunting lodge way up in the mountains which has been in the family for 100 years. The old truck with the 360 handled the hills well. It was a beautiful morning in North Central PA. I saw a lot of deer and a big flock of turkeys along the way.
My truck and I helped hang it on the side of a shed.
Here are some pics:

Sweet lookin truck Abe. I too have a soft spot for that vintage. When I was 17, I had a 67 F250 with a 300 6cyl. 4 spd. A set of stainless wheel simulators would look trick. I put some on my motorhome:
Nice truck! I love the "Radio Dispatched" lettering on it. That used to be a big deal, now it's kind of pointless with cell phones!
Yes, I like it too. Young kids now days have no idea what it was. I can tell the doors have been repainted. It would have been neat to have the original lettering on them, too. I think it must have been a construction truck or a delivery truck of some sort like for a lumber yard or an appliance store.

My last year in high school and my first year in college (in the summers) I worked for a lumber yard in the early 70's. I worked in the yard and also delivered lumber and building materials. The business had mostly Fords and the newer ones were late 60's up to 73's. So I drove a lot of trucks of this vintage, some F250's, some F600's and a couple of F700's. So driving my 70 F350 brings back memories.

I really like that work truck Abe! Must be a lot of fun to drive that one. A 67-72 truck is on my wish list. A guy in my area is selling 67-72 Highboys and I've been drooling over those.
