Anybody else here going ? Would be good if a get together could be arranged. It is a one week event . I will post more this evening .

 

Looks like fun but count me out this year. I would need way more notice to get the time and funds together. I think I started planning for RRE in January or February so I was all set when it came around in July.

 

I know it's a kinda short notice.
The event goes for one week with shows every day, parades and just cruisin along the beach between bay St. Louis and Ocean Springs , Mississippi .
I usually watch one of the parades.. Last year , they had around 6000 vehicles registered.
On Friday and Saturday of that weekend, we usuall cruise along the beach in Biloxi. And it is crazy there. Lot of burn outs, stop and go traffic, and just a lot of people partying.

If some of you Guys can make it there, let me know, and we can get together one of those days.
Btw, there are usually a lot of trucks, most of them raised up, and they just show off :-) and have a good time

 

it started...
besides last minute Karen coming from the Gulf and threatening the event, the weather is actually quiet good... might have a few sprinkles today, but it will be clear starting tomorrow.

As per news, they are estimating this year a record turnout with over 7000 (yes seven thousand) registered vehicles.

the event will go till next weekend and occupy the entire coast area in mississippi.

i might upload some pics, if i find some nice OBS PSD.

we usually only cruise friday / saturday and then just sit somewhere and watch the crowd on HWY 90 cruisin in stop and go traffic.. its always fun.
