F555o Fob Problem
I obviously am not doing something correctly.Let me try this again.
I have a 1999 F550 2Lcustoms truck. It had aftermarket security and FOBs that worked correctly. I removed the system and repaired a few cut wires correctly. All of the locks work good with the buttons. The truck had two new still in the bag factory FOBs in the dash. I installed new Batt in them and I used one of them on another F350 just to make sure they worked and I was doing it correctly. I can not get the F550 to respond the the FOBs at all. I cycle the key 5 times and the locks activate and then when I click the FOB nothing happens. I have tried it 5-8 and 10 times I fill like there is something unplugged or cut that I haven't found.
Does anybody know?
1 Where is the piece or box that receives the FOB signal is located?
2 A basic description of what it looks like and what wires should be there.
