Transfer Case?
I have 05 excursion with a rear driveline vibration, after replacing the u-joints and still vibrating. I noticed I can move the transfer case 1/2" in all directions! Upon further inspection I noticed the adaptor between the transmission is cracked in a few places! Question is that part in front of the transfer case and behind the transmission called an adapter plate? <!-- / message -->

Any special tools I might need to replace this part? Does the transmission shaft go directly into the transfer case? Looks like I need adapter/tranny gasket, new tranny mount. Any other parts while im in there, thanks!
