Step bars

Anyone know of a step bar thats being sold that will fit a 79 F150? Ive search and found some older post, saying Carr Hoops will, but according to their website nothing is listed for our year trucks.

I looked long ago and could not find anyone offering tube steps specifically for these rigs. You'll either have to fabricate, adapt a set of universal steps, or adapt a set from the 80-96 rigs which are still available. In the end, some fabrication is required.

I think the Carr step is like a stirrup or hoop. They look rather lame, especially on a lifted rig, in my opinion.

I kinda like the hoops. I currently don't have anything on my truck right now but I am about to break down and buy a set of aluminum bully bars. They look like the Carr hoops. I do not like the modern tube style nerf bars with the plastic end caps for these old trucks though.

I actually found some Bully brand steps that says it fits out years. Ordered some so we shall see!
