Step vs Step bar
I recently took off my step bars just to see how it looks, and it looks a lot bigger I think. But it is a bit of a step to get in the cab. I can live with it but others who aren't as tall as me need something. I was thinking of putting Carr's Super Hoop Steps on instead of puttin the bars back on. If I did put the bars back on I would need to take two of the mounting brackets to a machine shop to bend them back because I bent them up pretty good offroad one trip (they became rocksliders on that trip). Anyone have picture of an f150 with Carr's step on it. Never seen this on an f150 before. Or do you all think I should put the bars back, I want to get away from the all black theme that is going on my truck, chrome steps would be nicer than the black bars. Man, those bars are rusted out pretty good on the inside, but they are still very usuable. Some water came out of both steps when I took them off, possibly from a little offroad action

I've put a couple sets of Carr's hoops on trucks and they are ok but you have to make sure you get them where you want or they will be hard to step on. Too far ahead or back and they are pretty useless. They also lose their shine pretty fast so if you don't like the dull aluminum look you might not like them.
