I was originally told 12 to 14 weeks.
I don't need it, I want it.
It will be nice to have.
Spending a week in Oregon is like spending 20 minutes at Yellowstone.
We have the greatest state
We're going to Hood River - (world famous apples) - this weekend to get some apples and to see the foliage in the (world famous) Columbia River Gorge.
From Bill Huff;
"Got some great news for you. your truck is making exceptional time coming across the US in Burlington Northern Rail Car KC5008674. It is currently steaming south through Tacoma Washington. You should be able to pick up your truck some time later this week. Friday or Saturday. I will let you know once it actually hits the Port."
So I have had my new truck for 2 weeks now.....all I have to say is PowerStroke....the gasser was good....but this thing is amazing...2014 F250 lariat ultimate 3.31 SRW...6.7PSD...

Awesome! I am excited for you and slightly jealous. Cannot wait to see your new ride. I have a feeling I am going to need to place an order next year as the mileage on my truck is getting up there!
Your dealer is great. I've had a VIN for two weeks and a window sticker available for slightly less than that but my dealer still can't figure out his system enough to give me a build date. According to him delivery is still, and I quote, "Sometime in the middle of November, hopefully before December."
You have info on the actual rail car? That's cool, really cool. I wish my dealer could figure that out...

PM Crystal (FordService), she commented earlier on in the thread and she can get you weekly updates on the status of your truck.
Great choice...very similar to my truck. No disappointment in choosing the gas over the diesel...cheaper maintenance, probably a lot cheaper in the long run, and the gas is a great engine. Best of all, you get a nice V8 tone when you step on it.

Yes, and she has been terrific for me so far. She found the VIN, and the window sticker all that. Sadly, she's on vacation this week.
The guy I'm actually working with at the dealer tells me he has no access to the "system" at all, yet somehow was able to order the truck. If I could get him to just feed me a weekly update I'd be happy, but either my order isn't important to him or he's telling the truth and really doesn't know the system himself.
This is all really my fault. The day I ordered he did set my expectation that delivery would be in mid-December. A couple weeks later I shot Crystal an IM just for kicks and she responded *seconds* later with the VIN, an estimated delivery date and the location I could view the window sticker. That got me all excited thinking I'd see it before Thanksgiving.
Ah well, I'll crawl back under a rock now and cross my fingers and wait...
Congrats! Have you seen it yet? You know the rules...
Between you and I our trucks are 5885 serial numbers apart, mine is only 10 days newer and as of yesterday is on a rail car in the midwest heading for the golden state.
Bet you can't wait. Awesome truck. Mine and yours are very similarly equipped, same crew cab 4x4 XLT short box layout. I even got a Rhino lining (put in a couple of weeks after getting it, though). Have fun tomorrow!
