I think that order was real close to getting a Lariat. All you needed was leather seats.
You will enjoy that ride. I got a 2013 Lariat in April, it's awesome.

If you will be on the road a lot, you probably would want the long bed for the larger gas tank so you're not stopping for gas every 2 hours.

sounds like a nice truck. I talked to a couple the other day that ordered their new SD a couple of weeks ago and they were quoted 6wks turnaround. A lot better than the 8wks it took to get mine.

I really hope Ford gets their head out of there *** and figure something out with the small tank in the short bed.

I just checked on Ford's site and yes the gas engines get the 35 gallon tank for all wheelbases. That's something new for 2014. But the Diesels still get the 26 gallon tank for short beds.

Good luck with your new truck.Ford has to relocate the def tank to the passenger side to give the short bed diesel a bigger tank.

Little tight on the passenger side due to the exhaust filter

I've seen F250/XLTs with a "10,000 lb GVWR Package" and a "9,000 lb GVWR Package" - is the 10,600 lb GVWR Package a new designation for 2014 vehicles?
