New turn signal switch source
I have a 79 steering column with cruise, tilt, it's a 4sp.
What other years can I steal from, if any? I never see these trucks in our yards here, only vans around the same years.
I got rid of most of my parts trucks, and kicking myself for doing so. If you do find a truck for sale around here, they want thousands for a rusty one.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
78-79 E/F100-350 w/ tilt wheel. Marked D8TA 13B302-AB
D8TZ-13341-A
Last dealer cost $99.23, list $148.85
Green Sales, Cincinnati, OH has 2 (800) 543-4959
Bob Allen Ford, Overland Park, KS has 3 (913) 381-2999
I'd go with Green first, they have decent customer service. The only reason I listed Bob Allen is because there aren't many of these switches around.
If you call Bob Allen (1) be sitting down (2) hold onto your wallet.
Note: If you're scrounging the salvage yards, this switch also fits Econolines from the same years. Needs to be tilt. Auto or 4 spd doesn't make a difference.
I just got an invoice from Fed Ex again 2 months after receiving my parts, for parts ordered from the US. It cost me over $100 to have to engine mounts shipped, now I get another bill for $17 for duty. I can't count the hundreds in duty charges I have paid from ordering south of the border. It sure makes it easy for me, but my wallet hates it.
We sure don't have much for options up here in Canada for parts.
