So I must say I have used this site often, just flipping through old posts,to fix many issues on my ol' work horse.I have a 1988 Ford f250 7.5L gasser that plows and hauls all year. But this has me stumped and I'm hoping to find some help.
On a recent trip home I had a sudden loss in power steering. I pulled over and found a nearly empty power steering reservoir and a large amount of fluid. I filled the pump up as I always have most vital fluids on me (she is old as i said) and limped it the mile home. I found and fixed the broken hose clamp that caused the leak and filled it with Lucas Power steering fix per instructions. But as soon as this was fixed the brake light and anti lock brake light came on and stayed on. I took her out to test the steering fix and found the brakes to be sticky (holding after released) and a slow return of the brake pedal. I had some one step on the brake pedal and saw little movement on the front calipers.
Thanks in advance for any help.

The brake light and ABS light on could be caused by low brake fluid. The pedal not returning is most likely caused by a bad MC vacuum booster. There's a spring inside that returns the pedal.
