Hi, Just chasing some real world first hand feedback on the Hpx/FRx Mod.
Is it worth it in terms of the benefits gained? Not taking anything at all away from the supplier of these parts just want to know how high up my list of mods it needs to be and what are the exacts results.
FRx - I got the perception of a smoother idle, but this could have also been the in-tank and fuel filter mods also added at the same time. The main benefit that I've heard of it that the FRx allows any air in the fuel system to escape back to the tank rather than being forced through the injectors which can cause wear.
HPx - no change in running that I've noticed. The main reason to fit is that it will help equalise oil pressures in the heads and that the HPx was on the IH produced engine. When pulling the turbo the HPx line has to be removed to get the turbo out. May be Ford deleted it to make the thing easier to service?
