L&L Header question

other than cutting some inner fender well is there anything else that needs relocated with the out the fenderwell headers? also what kind of power increase do you typically get from changing to headers of iron manifolds?

truck is a 1977.5 f250 with 460 and c6 auto.

No other modification needed.

You really won't see much power...maybe 10hp? It just allows the motor to breathe better.

Might need to notch the passenger side cab mount, header comes close and touches on some.

Maybe the bracket attached to the frame that clamps the brake line, just aft of the shock tower?

And removing the tower might aid in installation? It should be bolted on, if you are putting them with the engine installed.

I had to grind a little clearance on the dvrs side cab mount bracket.

I had to trim the inner fender well on both sides. The passenger side cab mount and bolt needed ground back some as well. As '77&79F250' suggested, I had to remove the brake line clamp on the driver side. Finally removing the shock driver side shock tower was a necessity to get them in. What they said already plus... I had to install a dent on one of the driver's side tube as the steering shaft needed just a bit more room to rotate without hitting.

Test fit before coating!
