Fuel pump inlet 460

Ok so I'm swappingout old 460 for a new one and the fuel pump is different does anyone know what side is the inlet or outlet of this pump?

That is the same 1973 truck pump I put on mine over a year ago so my memory not 100% sure. As I recall the curved one is from tank. The straight one to carb. I will look tonight when I get home. Unless someone else chimes in to back me up.

I agree with Jefffafa....The curved one feeds fuel into the filter and then goes to the carb.

Ok Thanks I got the pump hooked up that way now but still not getting fuel after cranking it a bit, how long should it take to get fuel to the carb?

The best way is to prime the carb and then start it. Put a little gas in both front barrels of the carb and start it up. You might have to do this twice. With the engine running it will work the pump faster so it can prime itself.
