Coolant change double check
So my 07 lariat with 13k miles I'm going to do a coolant change. From reading the tech folder I just want to be sure I'm right. I'm going to drain the radiator both block plugs when empty fill with 4 gallons distilled water run for a little while and repeat 2 more times. On final drain refill with 4 gallons of gold and remainder with more distilled water until at lower line on degas bottle. Road test and check again. Truck runs fine deltas of 4-5 only changing due to age. Sound right? Thanks guys

If you don't have a fumoto valve on the passenger side, I would highly suggest it. Otherwise you have to pull the starter every time you pull that side block plug. Get the valve with some cheap tubing, and you only have to pull the starter once to install the valve. Pulling the starter is easy..three bolts and two wires (not counted disconnecting the batteries).
There is much more to it if you want to try and backflush anything or change the coolant type.
