help a fella out.

I have a 96 f150 5.0 4wd short bed with a automatic e40d transmission. My transmission went out on me and I'm have a hard time finding one for a 96. Would I be able to pull a tranny form a 90-96 bronco and put it in?

this is the problem with multi-posting the same question.

The '94 and earlier solenoid pack is not compatible with the late ('95 & newer) chassis plug.

Go see your other thread for compatibility.
