What Engine Do I Have
I have a 1973 F250 4x4
How do I know if its a 360 or 390?
I see the number 352 on the front of the Block
I just purchased it he said he thought it to be a 390 but how do I know for sure?
Thanks
Tim

Unless the engine was replaced or rebuilt it would be a 360.
The only way to know for sure is measure the stroke

Measure #1 and mark....use the valve cover rail for reference on each side.
Measure #7 and mark.
Measure difference:
+/- 3.50 inches... = 360 cubes
If it's +/- 3.75 inches, then it's a 390.
