Hey everyone I am new to the site. Got an 89 f150 Efi 300-6. It starts up fine and I can drive it sometimes for miles and sometimes not. It will start to cut out randomly and if I push in the clutch and let it idle it usually comes out of it but if I try to give it fuel it will die for sure. But if I let it sit for 5 minutes I can get it started but I have to pump the gas until it clears up. If not it will not idle. After it has its spell it runs fine until it decides to do it again. I changed the fuel filter and it seemed to help but went back to it again but wanted to maybe get some more ideas before diving into it sorry for the long post open to any ideas thanks

 

Is it the idle air control valve?
