what is this
hey yall im swapping in a 460 from a 88 into my 77 i already have everything in need i just need to know what this part is its either a cooler usinig coolant or a oil cooler plumbing oil to an external cooler. Please let me know. thanks. also if the pic shows up to big let me know ill try to fix it

if youre not towing heavy you could delete that and use a taller oil filter to retain capacity (if space allows). ive never been a huge fan of oil coolers, but are one more thing to go wrong/configure in a swap. they do have their place, however, if you will be towing heavy loads for long distances, any cooling helps. for daily driving, unloaded street rippin, or even drag strip use, its not going to do much.
