is it worth it
i have a 06 f150 5.4- when i step on the gas i hear more of the intake than the exhaust. i'm wondering if it would be worth it to put dual exhaust and a new air breather set up. would this give me better gas mileage and power. i use this truck for work i'm not trying to do it to show off or race or anything. what do you guys think or has anyone done this.

If you do a true dual exhaust with headers and high flow cats you will gain a few hp, but not a lot. And a cold air intake is just decoration under the hood. If you want power and mpg's look into tuners, either canned or custom
But a truck always sounds better with a nice exhaust
