Annoying Battery Light!

A while back my chargeback wire from my alternator to the battery broke where it connects to the alternator. Brand new alternator and batteries still in great condition. However since that happened my battery light is on about 95% of the time now. Any suggestions? Also I went through and all my fuses are fine no blown ones. Can't find any more broken wires or anything and my alternator shows to be charging just fine now. Thanks in advance!

If you are talking about the heavy gauge wire off the alt, it has two fusible links in it near the fender. I would start by checking that wire for continuity.

I will check that out. That's the wire I'm talking about.

The plug with two wires that connects to alt, sometimes goes bad andf needs to be cut and spliced with new DORMAN alt wire pigtail Happened to me and my 02 solved my Batt light issue
