y block shootout Columbus
Hey Kevin, we missed you this year. I made it to the finals on sunday this year and lost to Mickey Bogden. I lost to Ted in the 1st round on saturday, beat him in the semi's today.

In your second pic is that 2.14 minutes?

Ya got a sweet truck and a really sweet 239 in it.

That I think was the first year at columbus. A .214 light. Now I'm cutting pretty good lights. Sunday I had .081 , .040 , -.061red , .160 , .494 but I saw the win light so I left easy ,.051 ,.229 and .085

This summer I rebuilt the engine, never did anything like that before. It's an early 239. It now has a 312 crank and rods, 272 standard pistons and I got the block welded so I could put G heads on it. Had to drill new water passages at number 4 and 8. I'll have to write an article for y block magazine. Dennis

Thanks, my mom is in a much better place.

Y block shootout is One of my favorite yearly events and now I have missed 2 years in a row.

Dennis, I.m sure you had a great time running the DOG out of the 55!
