Picked up a sweet '96 Jaguar XJ6 on Tuesday. Ford owned Jaguar back then, so I can sleep at night. 
Missing some minor parts like lens covers for the front turn signals, and one rear side marker light (which I have already bought off of eBay), and the power antenna mast is broken off, but the engine bay is so clean you can eat off of it, and it only has 145k miles on it. No tears in any of the leather seats, but the center console has a few. I paid $2,900 for it. Tomorrow she gets a Viper alarm and new power antenna, and the light covers should be here by Thursday of next week. Going to get her detailed today and use her for my daily driver.

Gail & I are road tripping to Texas this week. I'll be racing Sportsman class in the NHRDA Finals at Texas Motorplex Friday & Saturday.

I-40/US-287. Gallup tomorrow night, Wichita Falls on Wednesday.
Thought about going I-10/I-20, but it's about the same distance either way and there are more choices for overnight accommodations on the "Northern" route. Or, maybe I'm just a creature of habit...

The scenery is better that way, too.
Can't beat the pines of Flagstaff, nor the color in the mountains of New Mexico.
Food in both Albuquerque and Amarillo is tough to beat! And there's always Del's in Tucumcari for lunch or dinner.
Tip: Do the speed limit through all the little towns along 287! Never been nailed, but have seen a lot of radar guns hiding behind billboard signs.
