I never understood the whole "if I am on a diet then all of us are on a diet" mentality.
I will eat what I like. If you want to diet, just keep your tasteless food away from my food, and we will be just fine.

I'm already going to make steak & shrimp skewers, maybe some stuffed bread & something for a birthday desert since he doesn't care that much for cake. I like the stripper idea myself! Just gotta figure out how to bring her home to give him his full body rub down & birthday sex?!! (what man in his right mind has never thought of having 2 woman?) Hmm...could be fun & interesting!!

Goodmorning Everyone,

Happy Friday!

We have 3 new NV. Chapter members, so please welcome them aboard.

I'll be at Dayton Valley Days tomorrow helping run the Pampered Chef booth. If you plan on going, stop by the booth & say Hello. Hope to see you there.

Good Afternoon Donna & gang.
Donna Donna, I have trouble handling one great woman. But thanks for the thoughts. What it would be like to be young again in all ways, just not my mind.

Howdy all!

I guess I'm glad I checked in this morning while doing homework or I would have probably missed all of the fun. LOL

Donna - I'm sure you're on the right track and he wouldn't complain, but you know him way better than the rest of us. Everyone is different with different wants/needs/likes. But if he would enjoy that and you would as well, then I say go for it. This way everyone is happy for his birthday! LOL

I hope everyone is doing well. I've just been busting my butt with homework/school.

I agree about the bacon, but have actually gotten used to turkey bacon. Only thing is, you seem to have to cook it way longer to get it crispy. That's the only issue I have. Otherwise, it's all good. Although, I don't agree with the "if I'm dieting, you have to" mentality. Luckily, I don't have to deal with that. Yea me! LOL

Good Morning Everyone. can't chime in on the diet foods, I have had some & they aren't too bad. But we eat a lot of non GMO, & organic foods anyway. So when you take all the processing out, food tastes much different.

Craig - But that is technically better for you and that's a good thing. My wife buys that type of stuff most times and I'm fine with it. Like you said, it's amazing how different things taste when it's not "processed".

I tried the dried pineapple rings from Fresh & Easy, the ones that are NOT processed (sugar added, etc...) and they were darn good. I actually prefer them over the processed ones. Less sugary, but definitely has enough natural sugar to taste really good. It kind of surprised me, in a good way.

Oh as a side note, I did get my new lens (after selling off my bike) last week. A Canon EF 400mm f/2.8L II lens. I get to truly test it out next weekend when shooting the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (CWTS) at LVMS. Sweeeeeeeettttt!

We use to dry all our own fruit, the wife cans etc. I'm married to a farm girl. Once we get our house built in the mountains of Arizona we will start that again. We hope have a livable place in the mountains in the next two-three years is our plan. Septic & water will be in by years end. Once they are in we will move one of our trailer on site, start building.

Hello,

Thanks for the invitation. About us, our 1967 Ford F250 is my wife's and it is currently non-running, it has a lot of patched together parts, 1970 or later grill, supposedly has a 1968 "390", and a lot of bad wiring. The wife wants a set of after market gauges, a new steering column (tilt and smaller wheel) and use it as a daily driver. In the end we want to be able to tow 8000#. Any body know where to pick up a correct grill and aftermarket instrument panel?
