Morning Everyone,

Happy Saturday!

We finally finished detailing Olfthfl & Yummy lastnight around 8pm for the Show & Shine. I also cleaned the dunebuggy that our neighbor will be picking up this morning for his sons birthday. Needless to say...i could hardly move by the time we were done. Amazing what a can a pledge will do for a paint job, huh?

I'll try to take more pictures & post them later.

Have a awesome day!

I hope everyone had a good day.

Donna, how was the car show?

I posted in the sale/trade/want discussion about a neighbor selling a 71 F100 4x4 parts truck for anyone interested.
It has parts I would like to have but he wants to sell it complete and not part it out. If I had somewhere other than my front yard to store it I would get it.

Talking

Greg - I did respond, but on the August thread, like a pinhead.

I'm so out of sorts from the move. I appreciate the offer of help though. I got my brother over here and we got it all done. I'm pretty beat up and tired, but it is what it is.

However, now I'm behind in my class/homework, so I've been busting my butt this weekend doing that now too. I feel all out of whack, but we are happier in this new house. However, we still are working on putting a ton of crap away. LOL

Plus, I sold my motorcycle on Wednesday. I needed the money for a special long range lens (Canon EF 400mm f/2.8L Mark II) that I've been needing since probably 2009. It will really help me with my sports shooting. Sooooo, now I'm just waiting for my friend to sell me his 400 that he was going to sell me when I got the money. I'm hoping to have it by the end of Sept to shoot the NASCAR Truck Series (CTWS) with.

Plus, last weekend I also shot the Legends Cup of the Legends Football League. It was the final game of the year and they have asked me to shoot their entire season next year. I'm truly pumped to be possibly shooting for an actual league. Another reason for the lens.

Anyway, I think that's enough yammering for now. I have to go hit my CRJ homework now. I've already finished 2 other classes today. Ugggghhh. LOL

Mornin', Pat.

So far, so good. Finishing putting some things away in the new house and hooking things up and I'm caught up on all my homework but one class...speech class. Ugggghhh!

My first speech is this Tue, so I've just completed my outline, am working up my note cards (which I should be doing instead of playing on here. LOL) and then I have to practice my speech today to make sure it's within 2-4 min. No more, no less.

Yaaaa, not likin' speech class very much, but I know it's a necessity.

Hope your weekend is going well!

Morning to all my FTE peeps. I hope you are all having a great weekend.

Mat: Glad you got everything moved in. now for 6 months of unpacking.

Just more homework today for me. My 3D Animation class started on Tuesday. I should enjoy this one more than I did the compositing class.

Yup, exactly! I always seem to hang up pictures, right before I have to leave a place. LOL!!!

Cool on your class! Sounds like an interesting class to me, actually. I'm sure you will like it better!

I also went out to the shed out back to grab the recycling bins, so we can start to use them and found a big black widow spider out there coming off of my lawnmower. Yaaaa, I'm not really happy about that. Looks like there are a bunch of "messy" webs out there too (indicative of black widows).

Not that I'm surprised, but I'm not happy either. So, I'm going to have to have our pest control come out and saturate that shed before I put more things out there!

Spiders are bad enough, but I draw the line at black widows, scorpions, brown recluses, anything poisonous.

Hope everyone had a good weekend, I know I did!

Finished by taking the boy for a private tour of the local fire house, he loved it!
He got to sit in the rig, turn on the lights, even wear a helmet that weighs about as much as he does!

Donna: awesome job at the show.
Pat: any progress on the truck over the weekend?
