Its 4 digits...
On the plastic removable cap doodad... there is a sticker with the pcm code...
Also... there is another... bigger sticker on the main body of the pcm.
In other words... take it out to see the pcm code.

I held my iPhone down next to the connector under the hood below the master cylinder and snapped a pretty good picture of mine. No tools required. The label faces the outside of the truck, not towards the center.
