ECU removal

ecu is corroded to the bracket. im curious on how to remove the ecu for inspection of the board. the bracket itself is fine. the computer is just corroded to the bracket

ok well what are the chances that hitting it from the interior would break it loose without harming the ecu box?

I don't have any idea for you. Perhaps someone will see this bump. Maybe CRC electronic cleaner or PB Blaster

thanks for the reply. been havin issues again with the ol girl and ive replace sensors as well as tested the wiring itself and I think its the computer but it wont budge from the bracket

Have you taken the two nuts off above and below the computer and removed the item they hold to the safety wall?

yea I tried that. I looked behind the kick panel in the cab and seen the bracket was rusted to the computer. I know sometimes its a tight fit but my eec wouldn't even budge one bit
