Plenty of threads on this topic I'm sure, but I figured I'd add to the chaos..
I'm getting to the point of needing to add the seals to my '63 doors. I've read horror stories about this.
Are there any options (that work) out there instead of the repop seals that LMC, etc are selling? It seems like none of those really fit right and doors won't close.
I'm wondering of some generic seals could do the job and still let the doors close correctly. Or - is there a trick to installing the LMC seals that I'm missing?
I've been putting this job off and think I need to get it done before the winter sets in..
Steele Rubber lists the door w/strips. I have had good luck with Steele in the past for other cars I've done but want to stress I have not used this particular piece. I have a 62 and will be ready for door strips in about 60 days...
Repost when you decide and let us know how you make out....
Not to change the thread but I used DC for window rubber the glass guy that helped me install said if I hadn't used DC he would not have helped, I think they are worth the wait?
