If you are curious about checking fuel volume to the bowl....

An empty fuel bowl (without a filter installed) will take about 12 seconds to fill up to the threaded area (where the cap threads onto...). If your pump times out and the bowl didn't over flow then you likely have a flow restriction somewhere. I hope this helps.

Side note:
Be advised that while doing this test you are essentially allowing unfiltered fuel into the bowl so it's prudent to drain the fuel again before installing the filter. This will help ensure that no unfiltered fuel finds it's way to the engine. A check valve will be released when the filter is removed so that effectively seals off any flow to the heads while performing the test.
Just an FYI...

Maybe a member in your area of Texas can help you out with an AE or other scanner to check for codes!

Yes...Texas is a small state when it comes to the FTE Brotherhood. What city are you in?

It sounds like fuel delivery, but the oil pressure is part of the fuel delivery equation. HPOP, IPR, ICP, fuel pump and pickup, and injector O-rings are all suspect. You really need to get to somebody nearby with AE - click on the B.E.S.T. link in my signature.

If it winds down slowly, it would more likely be fuel related in my mind. Slowly chugs out may be another description of it

If it cut off instantly, i would lean more towards electrical.

I read e 350 in my original reply. I think those have steel tanks. Good catch by those of u who read the OP correctly. Sorry for the mislick

Ok, go to the top left of this page. You will see a little box with a "UserCP" in it. That is your user control panel. That is where you can turn on the ability to get PMs (private messages), create an avatar, create a signature line, add your name to your posts or upload pictures of your truck/motor. You can also add an email address so we can contact you directly through email if you like. Sometimes, it is nice to receive an alert through email that someone has answered/responded to your questions in case they are urgent. Also, through PMs, we can exchange phone numbers and the like without the whole web seeing those numbers. Give the Control Panel a try...mess with it a bit. There is an option to "turn on PMs" in yours somewhere.
