I am working on a 54 F100. I purchased a mustang II kit for it. Now I have a change in plans. A local collector is having a custom chassis built for his 56 and sold me his rolling chassis that is set up they way I planned on doing mine.
So, do I try to sell my Mustang II and frame or have it installed and sell it ready to go?
It is a kit from JPL street rods with a Heidts crossmember. I am not sure what direction to go, I just know I don't want both sitting around.
I hate to be a kill-joy, but you need to address the VIN issue. Your VIN is stamped on your frame, and his is stamped on the frame you bought.
I don't know the answer, I'm just throwing it out there.
On the other; personally, I think I would sell the components. Usually the sum is worth more than the whole.
I agree, once he sold you the frame, he basically lost his vin. Legally, if he had a custom chassis made, he now needs to re title the truck with a new issued vin.
