Right Rear Window Issue...

The right rear window isn't opening when pressing the overhead switch. The left window is operating just fine. I can't hear anything when depressing the switch. Any ideas as to what might be the issue and possible solutions for a fix? This is the far right vented window near the back of the vehicle.

Thank you in advance!

best way to determine if there is a bad switch, simply swap them from side to side, then you'll see if its a circuit issue with the right side, or hopefully just a bad switch with worn contacts.

Try using the existing switch and have someone gently press outwards on the window while you press the switch. The seal can get nasty and the motor doesn't have enough power to overcome the seal. If it opens using this method, condition the seal with a product like 303 Aerospace Protectant (I use it on all my seals, weatherstripping, and tires).

303 Aerospace Protectant 32 oz.

If I recall correctly..... one works without the key being on, one has to have

the key on to operate. At least that's how I think my Excursion was.
