Question C4 or C6

Need help you guys. Got a 1967 f100 ranger ,got a 460 30 over and I have a decision to make. I've heard from others that the c6 takes about 50 horsepower and the c4 only 20 , I've got my hands on a c4 bellhousing that will fit up . I will only be pulling about 1500lbs once every few weeks only 100 miles round trip.

I agree. If you've got a bored out 460 you won't even miss the horses the C-6 will use. And with that engine you've got to be making some serious torque and horsepower. It will eat that C-4 for lunch then spit out the pieces.
The C-6 is a much stronger tranny. You'd be much happier with it.
