I checked, both of mine are '51's. Sorry! I wouldn't try drilling either, the least bit of wander and it would look crappy.

PS -- judging from your avatar, you badly need a door check strap!

I'll check my inventory to see if I have one from a 52. I know I have several from a 51 and 48-50. I should also have a few door check straps.

Many thanks, guys. No rush, the trucks still aren't here. And they'll be low priority for a while once they are, a lot going on the next few months.

I have a feeling the check strap will be the least of my adventures. The PO had the cab off to restore the frame/drivetrain/engine and told me there are no cab mounts reinstalled as he just stuck it back on with bolts to transport it. Got a feeling there are going to be tons of little things that need locating, like the proper trim. Not that I mind, it's part of the fun and he gave me a great deal for the pair of trucks.

Will be picking them up this weekend. Once they're here in the driveway I'll take more photos. And learn the proper way to post them. Clearly my last attempt (posting the link to the album photo) wasn't the best choice since a hyperlink shows up instead of a photo.

You can't link to the albums, but if you put pictures in your Garage, I believe you can.

Yes! That's what I was trying to do! Seems overly complex, too many options for my aging brain. Will delete the album and move the photos to the 'garage'. No point having the same shots in two places.

Thanks Ross
