F1 Measurements
Hello, i was wondering if anyone could help me, what i would like to know is, the following measurements of a 51 F1 to include the standard length, height & width, the reason i ask ask this is i am picking up a F1 within the next month (1st time owner).
Is there any reason for the different type of hood chrome work as i have noticed some have1, 2 or 3 bars on the hood.

Below is a chart for a '52 (same basic info as '51) that should cover your questions.
As for the trim, on '51 and '52s there were two trim level packages available. The basic trim was called "5 Star", and the optional trim was called "5 Star Extra". The base hood trim was a single spear. The optional is shown in the below picture. It included the stainless trim on the windscreen, dual horns, dual door locks, glove box lock, upgraded seat trim, map light, chrome vent windows, and probably a few things I'm not thinking of. I'm sure the others will come along and add to my list. Hope this helps. Stu
